We have some exciting events and performances planned for Pi-Con this year.

Friday

White Elephant Burlesque Society
Coming all the way from Jersey, the White Elephant Burlesque Society "aim to bring the symbolism of freedom, joy, romance, sexuality, and theatrics that captivated the audiences of the original vaudeville and burlesque ages to the modern."
Rocky Horror Picture Show
The South Hadley-based Come Again Players will be performing. They have several pre-shows as well as a live shadow cast during the movie. Bring your angsty-goth-teen outfits and your favorite audience participation lines.

Saturday

Realms LARP
All day, this medieval fantasy live-action roleplaying group will be holding a tournament for their regular players, and introducing new folks to the game. Boffing will be outside, next to the pond.
Belly dance cabaret
This group of talented dancers from the area will perform traditional and modern belly-dance pieces. To be followed by an introductory belly-dance class.
Knights Challenge Boffing
A presentation of medieval European swordsmanship and its modern study. And an opportunity to try your hand at medieval longsword against our champion. Culminating in a tourney of the best fighters. Are you up to the Challenge? Presented by the Historical Boffing Association.
Masquerade ball
Ballroom dance (dances will be taught), costume awards (by costumer Sara Harvey), and a kilt-wearing contest (judged by KT Pinto). Salon E will be the place to be from eight to eleven Saturday night.

Sunday

Fan-based media
We welcome submissions of fan-based media to be shown at Pi-Con. We are particularly looking for short films, on DVD, that you have permission to show. Email events@pi-con.org if you are interested.
