Pi-Con is 100% volunteer run. We work on it for the glory fame fun of putting on an awesome science fiction con - and we get to enjoy ourselves at the con, too!

Why volunteer?

Get free stuff!
Work at least 8 hours at the convention and you'll get a free t-shirt.
Work at least12 hours and you'll get a free membership for 2009!

Volunteering will give you an excuse to interact with all kinds of people at the con, both staff and otherwise.

Just send an email to volunteers@pi-con.org, and we'll set you up!

What might I be doing

We need people to help with registration, setting up for events, running the video game room, checking on panels to make sure they end on time, keeping the consuite stocked with snacks, and tons of other things. If there's something specific you want to do, just mention that in your email to volunteers@pi-con.org. If not, no worries! We'll find something you can do to help out.
